Hey! I’m Natasha—the face behind Honey Jade Studio. I'm currently based in San Diego, California but will be relocating to Boston, Massachusetts by October 2025. I started this branding company as an extension of my elopement and intimate wedding photography business, a career that has taken me all over the world to capture love.
I’ve always loved photography, not just for the art of it, but for the way it brings out confidence in people. What has always left me in awe is the intentionality of the spaces where stories unfold—boutique hotels, grand architectural venues, and Airbnbs that I couldn’t believe were once someone’s home.
Beyond the beautiful settings, I've had the privilege to work with all different walks of life. I've photographed a bride who’s a holistic skincare therapist, a groom who designs immersive art installations, and a bride’s dad who owns a farm-to-table catering company that kept guests happily fed on their big day. Honey Jade Studio is more than just a name. It's a reflection of my heritage and journey as a proud Chinese American woman who flourishes in creative spaces and commitment to creating a brand that feels like me.
To create imagery that speaks to others, I had to build something I was proud of. I was drawn to the softness and warmth of these words together, only later to discover honey jade is a real type of gemstone that represents wisdom, harmony, and prosperity. Honey itself holds deep meaning in my life—it reminds me of my love for gardening, the way bumblebees pollinate the flowers I've grown with my mom and how the warm glow reminds me of my time in sunny San Diego, California. When deep meaning and connection form the foundation of a brand, passion becomes the driving force behind wanting to share it with others.

With early set up and all the pre-planning we've done, we're going to hit the ground running! I can't wait to create imagery that reflects your brand that you care so much about.
Get pumped! Your final gallery turnaround time is about 3 - 4 weeks. Previews will be sent within 72 hours of your session.
I want to see your images plastered all over your social media and website! It's so important that clients use these images intentionally with the idea of building brand awareness and boosting sales!
